Ottawa Dance Centre Schools provide general and vocational training
in Pre-ballet, Creative and Classical Ballet under the guidance of a Cecchetti and
Royal Academy of Dance-certified, internationally recognized, professional faculty.
The Ottawa Dance Centre Schools also offer lessons in Contemporary Techniques (Modern, Jazz and Hip-Hop), plus character and tap.
ODCS is a non-competitive school. Our students are assured a curriculum of training that provides a structured continuum from the earliest years to university levels.
Opportunities to perform are offered during the program, culminating in the semi-annual holiday and year-end concerts.
The studios are fully equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, barres and dressing room facilities. Ample parking is available in the Centre's parking lot and there is easy access to public transit.
ODCS alumni include Artistic Directors of Canadian Dance Companies, performing artists in both Canada and abroad, teachers & directors of dance education programs, both Classical and Contemporary, and recognized professionals in related arts fields.
